Combining a childlike playfulness with a sage sensibility,
singer/songwriter Christopher Prim specializes in ‘acoustic wisdom’:
a blend of wood and steel, flesh and bone, and as much heartfelt
mischief as songs can hold. After almost 20 years writing and
playing, with 2 CDs under his belt, Prim is coming of age.
Influenced by players like Stephen Stills, Bruce Cockburn, Dan Bern
and Greg Tamblyn, currently performing across the US West Coast, his
song ‘Little Four Cylinder’ aired on NPR’s ‘Cartalk’ in 2005, and
his 2009 CD release ‘Clean House’, available at www.cdbaby.com/prim2 has received
airplay in the all-powerful commercial market known and feared as
‘The Netherlands’.
‘Christopher Prim is a writer and performer to
watch. His canvas is broad and his
ability matches it.’ -Nicky
Rossiter
‘A true original. From the romantic to the sublime
to clever humor to guitar artistry, he
has it all.’ -Paul
Boerger
‘A force to be reckoned with.’ -Joe
Rathburn
‘Wood nymphs sprinkle your path with rose petals
while you dance and prowl in the sequined moonlight with leftover
cupcake sprinkles. The elves that play in the toasters wash their
drum sticks in honey and sing strikingly colored anthems in perfect
harmonious pleasure. Let me hear more of that wonderful
sound!’ -Hotbox, Myspace Mix
